Titan Primary Care Network (PCN) covers Houghton Regis Medical Centre, Toddington Medical Centre and Wheatfield Surgery and is coordinating the COVID vaccination programme for these practices. NHS England has ruled that each PCN is only allowed to use one site to carry out their vaccinations. Titan PCN evaluated the three practices and concluded that Toddington Medical Centre had the best resources to accommodate the vaccination programme.
Titan has received confirmation from NHS England that the first batch of vaccines will be delivered Friday 15th for use over the weekend. We have a dedicated team calling eligible patients according to the priority set out by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation and ask patients not contact their practice regarding the vaccination. We appreciate that most people are keen to receive the vaccine but ask for your patience.
We are asking that where ever possible, patients are dropped at Toddington Medical Centre and collected around 35 minutes later as we have very limited car parking available.
We will be receiving more vaccine deliveries next week and again will contact eligible patients to book them in.
